Are you struggling to make your recycling program more effective? Does your organization have a contamination issue you’d like to solve?

Maybe you’ve read some of our blogs and downloaded some of ReCollect’s Success Stories, but you’re still a little unsure of how we could help you reach your goals. At ReCollect, we are a tight-knit team of passionate, authentic, and purpose-driven folks who are deeply committed to changing the waste and recycling industry, one organization at a time. One of our primary goals is to provide value and a positive experience to everyone we get in touch with.

If you are on the fence about working with us, here are five reasons why you should reach out to us today. We’d love to chat with you and help you solve your problems!

1. Conversations with us are designed differently, unlike just another sales call.
No matter what your goals are in the solid waste and recycling world,  you’re going to get value out of talking with us. Just like you, we are stewards of the earth and we care deeply about the environment —and we work hard every day to effect real change in the waste and recycling industry.

Our leadership team has structured our company in ways that allow us to focus our time and efforts not only on taking care of the planet, but on empowering our customers and prospective customers to do the same.

2. Real people; real help.
At ReCollect, the person on the other end of the line is an authentic person with years of experience in the solid waste and recycling industry. When you reach out to us, you will be connected with an industry expert like Phil Hunter, ReCollect’s Business Development Representative, whose photo you can see on our website. You will not be pestered or pressured; you will not be guided through a robotic recording.

No matter your solid waste- or recycling-related issue, we’ve been there, or we know someone who has. We have years of experience working with hundreds of organizations throughout North America and chances are, we’ve heard your challenges before. We understand your challenges because we’ve been in your shoes, and we can either offer our help directly or point you in the right direction.

3. It’s not us — it’s you!
We don’t want the conversation to be about us, we want to talk about you. Conversations with us are a “great way to connect and discuss solid waste,” but calls do not revolve around ReCollect, said Phil Hunter.

“I want to learn about your solid waste issues, goals, aspirations. These calls are an opportunity to ‘talk shop’ and learn what issues other communities are facing and solutions they have enacted to try to solve them. A lot of organizations and communities are facing the same recycling issues,” he said. “Let’s learn from each other.”

4. Be prepared.
To help you get the most out of a conversation with us, spend a little time thinking about the various challenges you face. Be ready to talk about the basics of your organization, the challenges you are hoping to overcome, what you are doing well, what you are hoping to improve, what your timeline looks like, and any other information about your resource availability or constraints.

5. Building relationships, bettering the environment — together.
We want to build a relationship with you so we can work together. ReCollect aims to arm organizations with the insights and tools they need to make a measurable impact toward their goals and ultimately towards our planet, whether or not we do business together.

If after we talk, we find that our tools and solutions are not a fit for you, we will still listen to your issues and provide you with some ideas and/ or resources.

Even when ReCollectors are off the clock, we are active recyclers who care about making a difference, and it is truly important to us that we do our best day in and day out to inspire our fellow communities to recycle right and give them the support and tools they need to help them do so.

“I am super proud to be part of an organization that puts its mission first,” says Drew Rifkin, Vice President of Sales at ReCollect. “Beyond revenue generation, our goal is to take an initiative forward to help you reach your goals and we are happy to provide our solid waste expertise to organizations, whether or not they are optimal fits for ReCollect’s tools.”
